$209.54 in Dividends in April 2026 (and a Portfolio Update)

We made $209.54 in dividends in April 2026, and our portfolio is up $12,464.12 excluding the contributions and the dividends. A total increase of $12,673.66 excluding contributions. That's more gained than what we lost in March 2026! Per my earlier post last year - portfolio goes up, portfolio goes down.

Excluding RESPs, contributions this month added up to $1,198.08.

Here is how things changed last month, including our contributions. Biggest change this month was our purchase of some Telus stock.

I started to buy bonds to increase my exposure. My plan is to slowly start building up cash and bonds alongside other fixed income with higher monthly dividends.
